Converse, an American footwear company, is known for its iconic sneakers that dates back to the 19th century. Some of its signature models include the Jack Purcells & Chuck Taylors which are still seen on the feet of many youths today.

This advertorial is to promote a series of Andy-Warhol inspired Chuck Taylors. Initially, I did the layout with Andy Warhol’s silkscreen swatches. However, the result turned out to be ineffective as the shoes are unable to gain any prominence from the backdrop.

In that event, I decided to revert back to the basics and align the designs as cleanly as possible so the vibrant colours of the shoes are able to take over.
